Day 1: Madrid

Arrive in Madrid. Rest of day at leisure.

Evening: Flamenco Show at Torres Bemejas

Feel the heat of Spain’s traditional dance at the legendary Torres Bermejas, where some of the greatest names in flamenco have performed. You will be entertained by an internationally renowned flamenco group of more than 20 artists, making your visit a night to remember. Founded more than 40 years ago, its decoration is an accurate reproduction of La Alhambra of Granada.

 

Day 2: Madrid

Madrid City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Day 3: Madrid

Half Day: Toledo Day Trip (5 hours)

The beautiful imperial city-museum of Toledo is located 70km away from Madrid. It is one of the oldest towns in Europe, called “city of the three cultures”, since Christians, Muslims and Jews lived together. Its genuine Spanish buildings include almost all the periods in the history (Arab, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque style).

A highlight of any visit to Toledo is seeing the famous paintings by the 16th-century master, El Greco. Toledo was the setting for many of El Greco’s artworks, and a tour highlight is The Burial of the Count of Orgaz in the church of St. Tome.

 

Day 4: Seville

Madrid – Seville by train (2.5 hours)

Rest of day at leisure to explore or unwind.

 

Day 5: Seville

Classic Seville Tour (3 hours)

We’ll leave by coach and pass by Plaza de España, a jewel of 20th century Sevillan architecture. Then continuing to what once was the door to the Americas, the Golden tower. Later we’ll venture through the enchanting Hispanic-Jewish neighbourhood of Santa Cruz where our senses will be overwhelmed with the magic of its flowered streets and quaint courtyards. From there we’ll visit the Cathedral, the biggest Gothic designed place of worship in the world. Here we can also enjoy the spectacular views of the city from what today has possibly become the symbol of the Andalusian capital, the Giralda. This concludes our unforgettable visit.

 

Day 6: Seville

Full Day: Day trip to Cordoba (9 hours)

Prepare to be amazed on this day trip to Cordoba from Seville! Cordoba is a captivating Andalucian city with many attractive monuments, including its Alcazar fort and gardens, mosque, cathedral, synagogue and Jewish quarter. You’ll discover a beautiful network of streets, alleys, squares and whitewashed courtyards, reflecting the importance of Cordoba in the medieval period.

 

Day 7: Granada

Seville to Granada by train. Rest of day at leisure to explore & unwind.

 

Day 8: Granada

Morning: Alhambra and Generalife Gardens (3 hours)

Discover the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Alhambra and Generalife Gardens on this fascinating morning tour.  Escorted by your local guide, you’ll explore beyond the beautiful Moorish architecture to learn the history of one of the most visited attractions in the world.

 

Day 9: Barcelona

Granada – Barcelona by flight or overnight train.

Day 10: Barcelona
